
Quetta Gladiators set a massive target of 217 runs against Peshawar Zalmi with the help of Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.
With a valuable contribution to Shakeel and Allen’s explosives, with the valuable partnership of Hassan Nawaz, Rally Rosso, and Kosal Mendes, Gladiators set a tremendous target for Zalmai.
As asked to bat first, the opening duo of Quetta’s art Alan and captain Saud Shakeel started aggressively, which has ease of hammer limits.
They both scored 67 runs without losing wickets in the power play, and initially showcased their invading intentions.
The seventh over innings came to an end when Alan Allen scored 23 runs from Sufyan McKim, and first brought his first PSL fifty for the first time.
However, on the last ball of the over, the resident broke the 88 -run stand, leaving Allen on just 25 balls, leaving Gladiators at 88/1.
Hassan Nawaz came to the next, joined Shakeel, and together he continued to create speed. Saud Shakeel moved from the front, and brought his third PSL fifty off just 35 balls.
The two, with a score at 151/2 in 15.3 overs, formed a concrete partnership of 63 runs before Zalmai’s young pacer Ali Raza was dismissed for 59 runs.
In the next over, Hassan Nawaz became the third Gladiators player to leave, scoring 41 off 32 balls before Alzari Joseph fell. He left the Gladiators at 158/3 in 16.1 overs.
The rally Rosso and Kusel Mandes took charge of the final over by taking charge of the 58 -run partnership. Russo was unbeaten off 21 balls off 10 balls, while Mendes played a chemo with 35 balls off 35 balls, which led the Gladiators to a challenging 216/3.
Zalmai’s bowlers struggled to overcome the run, Ali Raza, Alzari Joseph, and the Sufis took every wicket, but no one could have a significant impact on the scoreboard.
