Bergamo, Italy:
Siri AK’s top scorer Matu Ratgoi scored one goal and helped each other when Atlanta ended his three-match defeat with a 2-0 Siri A win against Bolona on Sunday, and strengthened his push for the next season’s Champions League.
Bolona, who ranked fifth, suffered his first loss in the seven league games as Atlanta came in third in the standing, fourth in the fourth higher than two points.
“We are very happy with this conclusion … We have shown everyone that we are fine and we have learned from our mistakes. We hope to continue this way,” Ratgoi told Disney after scoring the 23rd goal in the campaign.
“Obviously I want to go to every game, I know it’s difficult, but the important thing is to win to enter the Champions League. Then if I reach 30 goals, it’s fine.”
Atlanta, who failed to score in its last three games, took the lead in just three minutes when Raul Bilanova sent Ritigo to a perfect cross from the right to tap the close range.
It was Retogi’s first goal after losing international duty with a thigh injury last month.
A similar move doubled the hosts’ lead in the 21st minute, and Ratagoi shook Bolona’s guard Jhan Lukomi to cross the box, and Mario Pasalak made no mistake in passing the keeper.
The useless fight
Two goals down, Bolona struggled hard to get a goal before the break, but struggled to go through the defending of the hosts.
When a short -free kick arranged Dan Nadoi’s curling effort in the 35th minute from the outside of the box, Diving Atlanta keeper Marco Cornesschi told him on the post.
A minute after the inside the box, Nadeoi shot the wide.
Atlanta’s biggest blow to the game was an injury for the seed Colasanak, who hurt his knee, while walking around for the ball with recordo and solini and went to the stretcher shortly before.
The hosts saw a period of pressure from Bolona near the hour mark, as Cornessachi saved the efforts of Benjamin Domingoz, Joan Maranda and Nedoi.
However, visitors failed to maintain the severity of their attacks as Atlanta defended their lead in the rest of the match.
Bolona coach Vinsanzo Italo said, “I am not going to feel sorry for myself. We have performed, now we file like great teams. We will face Inter -Milan, Jonets, Frewantina with a different approach.”
Atlanta travel to AC Milan next Sunday, the same day, the host leaders of Bolona.
