Prince Harry’s former charity is eventually breaking its silence after the Duke of Sussex issued an emotional statement about his resignation.
African Children’s Charity, Duke, responded by a joint foundation in honor of his late mother, when the Charity Commission launched an investigation into his leadership crisis.
Harry, Prince Seyu, and several trustees spread a dispute in the protest when Chair Woman Dr. Safi Chandoka refused to retire. Massive resignations have mobilized a regulatory compliance case, Watch Dog investigated whether the leadership of the charity had worked properly.
Now, the leadership of the St. Bell is addressing the riot.
In a statement, Chandoka said that he welcomed the inquiry and added, “We reviewed the internal governance last year, the results of which we will share with the Charity Commission.”
Executive Director Carmel Gillard also said, “We welcome that this process will bring this process. Transparency and accountability are central to the method of working.”
The answer has come after Harry’s statement, in which he described the situation as “heartbreaking” and condemned that he believes that the charity has been harmed.
“We fully expect (inquiry) will unveil the truth that collectively forced us to resign,” he added, adding that he hopes the charity will be “right hands immediately.”
