According to Interior Minister Panchaskoski, at least 51 people were killed and more than 100 injured in a catastrophic fire at a nightclub in northern Macedonia.
A fire broke out at 3pm on Sunday morning (02:00 GMT) when a band of Pyrootakinics was dispatched to Pyrootakinics in Kokani, about 100 km east of the capital, Skipjay, during a concert by the band DNA.
Interior Minister, Tuskovsky, said on Sunday, “Sparks set fire to … and the fire spread,” the interior minister said on Sunday.
A video of the Reuters certified event shows that a band is playing on the stage in which two flared white sparks fired into the air. Sparks set the roof above the band, which appears to be retreating with the video deduction.
Social media videos show the building completely surrounded by flames, in which thick smoke plus increases in the sky at night.
TV footage of a local broadcaster showed that firefighters dose the club and smoking in the club.
North Macedonia’s MRT Public Broadcaster reported that 27 people were admitted to the hospital with severe burning at Skipje City Hospital, and 23 more were being treated at the clinical center. The injured included minors, he said.
In a post on Facebook, Prime Minister Hurstjin McCowski said: “This is a difficult and extremely tragic day for Macedonia! The loss of many young lives is irreparable, the pain of family, loved ones and friends is unbearable.
“I urge all authorized organizations – health services, concerned authorities to take immediate steps to help the injured and help the family’s family.”
The Interior Ministry said that a public prosecutor from the office of the main public prosecutor of Kakani and Kakani is present at the scene.
“The number of victims and injured is still being determined. All the resources and abilities of the prosecution’s offices will be mobilized in their immediate response to support the Kokani prosecution, “the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
