The Saudi Interior Ministry has announced a set of procedures and guidelines as part of the preparations for Hajj 2025, aimed at ensuring the safety and safety of pilgrims during the holy season.
In a notification issued on Sunday, the ministry states that the deadline for entering the kingdom for Umrah actors will be on Sunday, April, 2025, while the last legitimate departure is Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
The ministry has warned that failure not to return to this date will be considered a violation of the rules.
From Wednesday, April 23, 2025, access to the holy city of Makkah will be strictly controlled. Those wishing to enter the holy city will have to present to one of the following: a valid work permit, a residential ID from Makkah, or a valid Hajj permit.
Foreigners living in other parts of the kingdom will not be allowed to enter Mecca unless they seek proper permission. The statement states that permits are trying to enter without permits.
The ministry also announced the issuance of Umrah permit through the “Nusuk” platform from April 29 to June 10, 2025.
In addition, people with any visa -type visa, which begin on April 29, will be prevented from entering or staying in Mecca.
Leadership letters point out that foreign nationals who need to enter Mecca or the sacred places for employment purposes should apply for a travel permit through the relevant portals.
