Apple is allegedly planning an important new design for the 20th anniversary edition of its iPhone lineup, which will be expected in September 2027.
A special pro model showing more glass elements to mark the existence of two decades of the iPhone is developing on the occasion of the anniversary, Says A Bloomberg report. Apple is also expected to launch a foldable iPhone along with the re -designed pro, but it is unclear whether this will be the first or second repetition. (Reports currently refer to the 2026 launch for foldable iPhone.) Apple is the only major smartphone manufacturer without a foldable device.
The 20th anniversary -based strategy can also help resurrect the sales of the iPhone, which has been slow in recent months, and may suffer from China under the Trump administration’s new 125 % tariff, where most components and iPhones are imported.
In the meantime, the next iPhone 17 is expected to be more closely similar to the previous pro models.
