Officials at the University of Alabama confirmed to Fox News Digital on Wednesday that a doctorate student, who was identified by a university newspaper as Aliriza Dorodi, Federal immigration officials detained their off -campus house early Tuesday.
Dorodi, who is studying mechanical engineering, allegedly came to the United States on a F -1 student visa in January 2023 after “clearing all immigration checks”. Crimson White reported.

Reports noted that his visa was canceled six months later, indicating that he reached the International Student and Scholars Services (ISSS) at the university.
