Bluez announced on Thursday that highpoint men’s basketball coach Alan Hus is becoming the lowest and that he will be re -joined to Greg McDermut staff in Crete, where he will be named head coach in wait.
Sources told ESPN that there is no special timeline for Mac Dermat to retire.
The 46 -year -old was an assistant to McDermut for six seasons in Kurton before taking office at the high point in 2023.
“My Alma Meter, Krightton, Coach McDermut, to work together and return to the future of the program is an extraordinary opportunity and, by truth, my dream job.”
McDermut said that the dedication and vision of Huses compatible with the commitment to win the program.
“When the time is fine, it will be an ideal coach to keep Crighton men basketball in the best people in the country,” McDermott said.
Since becoming the head coach of Panthers, Hus has guided the program in a record of 56-15, which was to go to the NCAA tournament last month after winning the backbackback South regular seasoning championship.
The High Point won a total of 29-6 in the last season, won 14-2 in the League game and won the conference tournament before falling into the prio in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Before joining the McDermut staff in 2017, Hussein was the head coach of the Assistant and High School Power House Laimier School (Indiana) in New Mexico. He is a curtain torn from 1997 to 2001 for the Blues under Dana Altman.
The 60 -year -old McDermott has been in charge of Criter since 2010. He offered the Blues five consecutive NCAA tournaments and 10 total NCAA. He won part of the Big East Regular season title in 2020 before the NCAA tournament was canceled due to pandemic disease.
Krighton has won at least one NCAA tournament game in each of the last five seasons, including three Sweet 16 in 2023 and Elite eight runs.
Bilogies went ahead 25-11 in the last season, 15-5 in the Big East and fell into the top seed in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
