Karachi Kings fast bowler Hassan Ali on Friday made his name in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), surpassing the record of the most wickets in the history of former Peshawar Zalmi Pacer Wahab Riaz’s tournament.
Hassan arrived at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Friday during a clash of his team against Quetta Gladiators.
The right -wing pacer dismissed Hassan Nawaz for just one run, and he took his 114th PSL wicket. This success puts him at the top of the PSL’s list of wicket -takers.
Hassan’s achievement is even more remarkable that he reached this milestone in just 83 innings – less than Wahab, which took 113 wickets in 87 innings.

The 30 -year -old has been in good shape in this PSL season, which has taken seven wickets in just three matches so far.
After a slightly expensive outout against the Multan Sultans, where he scored 44 for one wicket, Hassan made a tremendous return in providing a thrilling magic in his next match against Lahore Qalandars.
Earlier, in the match against Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings decided to bat first, after winning the toss. Kings played a target of 176 runs, with James Vince leading the charge with a knock on 70 runs. His innings helped kings challenging 175/7 in their 20 overs.
Kings’ Captain David Warner, who has yet had a significant impact in the PSL 10, scored 31 runs, including five limits. Tim Saffert also played an explosive knock, which scored 27 runs off just 15 balls, with six fours, with six fours, before bowled by Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel.
In the bowling department, Ali Majid and Mohammad Amir of Quetta Gladiators took two wickets, while Sean Abbott and Abrar Ahmed claimed near one wicket.
