Wall Street Journal It is reported that HHS investigators interviewed Armstrong on April 1 after resigning on March 28.

According to some parts of the Wall Street Journal, the acting general council of HHS, Sean Kavini, was not pleased with the answers to Armstrong.
“I am just trying to understand that when you are clearly a intelligent doctor, you remember such a horrific events of opposition,” Kevini said.
Armstrong told HHS officials that “this has been a lot, very, difficult years,” according to New York Times.
He added, “I have sitting here, what is in this report or what I remember from this report, I don’t have specific memories.”

The former interim president of Columbia University has repeatedly said during the statement that some parts of the last year are “fading” and said he had problems in remembering specific details.
In a statement, Columbia University’s Board of Trustee tried to separate HHS officials from Armstrong’s testimony.
The board said, “Columbia University is firmly committed to solving the problems raised by our federal regulators in relation to discrimination, harassment and anti -enmity.” “This testimony does not reflect the work done by the University to deal with enmity, harassment and discrimination through the University and to ensure the safety and fitness of our community.”
