Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) crushed a disappointing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Friday.
The first batting was sent, the CSK shocked badly, and arranged a minor 103/9 in their allotted 20 overs, their lowest total in Chicovic, and the third in their IPL history.
Chennai’s troubles were compounded by Ms Dhoni as Captain’s return after hurting the Rotorj Gaikwood, but Dhoni’s leadership is struggling because of CSK batsmen.
KKR bowlers showcased extraordinary skills, in which Sunil Narine led the charge with impressive data of 3/13. Pacer Harshat Rana and spinner Varun Chakraborty supported him with two wickets, as the CSK’s top order was easily removed.
Home -party batsmen never found rhythm, which managed only nine boundaries on a slow, twist pitch.
Shiam Dubl’s 31* off 29 balls was a lonely place for CSK, Vijay Shankar supported 29. The rest of the batting line -up was separated, which failed to reach dual data.
In response, KKR easily chased the modest target, and wrapped victory in just 10.1 overs, saved 59 balls. Their openers came out with intention, and moved the game beyond the reach of the CSK.
Narayan, who took three wickets, also had a significant impact with the bat, which scored 44 runs with just 18 delivery. When he was dismissed on the first ball of the eighth over, KKR was comfortable sitting at 85, only 19 runs needed to seal the victory.
This victory gave KKR its most comfortable IPL win in recent history, which only led to the success of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2021, when they chased 93 targets in just 10 overs.
This caused the fifth consecutive loss of CSK, for the first time in the history of the IPL, he endured such a series. The defeat was also the third in Chapuk, a new one for the five -time champions in the history of their home ground.
