Former President Bill Clinton called on the Americans to “improve” in their remarks in a program on the 30th anniversary of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. “This is the debt of those who have made the final sacrifice after 30 years,” he said.
The bombing in the Alfred P Marha Federal Building on April 19, 1995 is the deadliest ancestral attack in US history. At 9am and 2 minutes, a truck bomb exploded in front of the Federal Building claimed the lives of 168 people, including 19 children. About 700 others were injured in the attack.

When the attack took place, Clinton was near the end of his first term. In the 30th anniversary program, he remembered the day of the tragedy.
Clinton told the participants at the event on Saturday, “Thirty years ago, I thought that when I woke up, I would spend very different days.” “I went to walk with the winners of the Boston marathon, gave me the illusion, and it was illiterate, that I was somewhat fit. And then I returned to the White House and destructive news.”

The former president also talked about the beauty and importance of “Oklahoma Standard”, which is a spirit of flexibility and unity that came in response to the bombing. He urged the Oklahomans to adopt the spirit of “Oklahoma Standard” and spread it all over the country, saying that they were grateful for the existence of this standard.
On the morning of April 19, 1995, the former Army soldier and security guard Timothy McMeig set a rider truck in front of the Alfred P Marha Federal Building before the bomb.

McWeig and his co -conspirators were eventually captured and sentenced. On August 14, 1997, more than two years of bombing, McVe was sentenced to death. He was hanged on June 11, 2001, just three months before the United States was shaken by 9/11 attacks. The bombing of Oklahoma City was the worst terrorist attack on the US soil until 9/11.
