Coach Enzo Marska said on Wednesday in an impressive defense of his players who were in corruption in the weekend.
Chelsea initially found herself down 2-0 in a Sunday draw with Episich Town, where anxious fans in Stamford Bridge abused them to stick and build the same approach when she was not working against the team less than the relief.
However, although he came in sixth in the standing, Mareska said he believed “100 %” on his point of view, adding that his team is improving when he hosts Legia Warsaw on Thursday when he chase the Europa Conference League semi -final.
“Whatever happened last year, two years ago, I was not here, I had no idea-I would not decide because it is difficult. But in this season, we (we are getting better),” Morska said before the second leg, where Chelsea has a 3-0 lead.
“I think we can reach the European semi -finals. Yes, of course it’s not the Champions League, but finally it is a European competition.
“We have been at the top of the almost all season. Compared to the last two season, where the team has been zero bar (at the top four). I think it is quite clear that the direction is right, the style is correct.”
Marska said he did not hear abuse of the crowd, but he added that support for fans is very important for the progress of the team, which he believes can step next season.
“I think football belongs to fans because they are a central part, and as a team, as a club, when your fans support you, it is important because players can get this feeling,” he said.
“So when I say that we need to engage them, that is, we need to try to play properly, create opportunities, to go round. Because in the end, even if you score goals, each mood changes.
“Most of the games at home, fans have been doing well for the team. In some sports, in a few moments, like the last games, they were not happy. So we have to be good enough to get them again.”
