The Indian stock market will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025 due to good Friday, which has been observed in many parts of the country. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will suspend all commercial activity for both days.
The closure will apply to all segments, including equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, and securities loan and borrowing (SLB) platform. In addition to the equity markets, the exchange of multi -commodities (MCX) will also be closed for the entire day. According to the MCX website, it includes the evening session and evening session from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
As a result, there will be no trade in commodities like gold, silver, crude oil, or agricultural future on April 18. The trade in all exchange will resume on Monday, April 21.
