Ayodhya flight from Hear: In an important promotion to contact Uttar Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the first trading flight from Hesar to Ayodhya, which has identified an important milestone in regional contact. The move is expected to promote economic growth across the state.
Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation for a new terminal building at Maharaja Agrasan Airport in Hisar. The next terminal, which is estimated to be more than Rs 410 crore, will include the latest passenger facilities, a dedicated cargo terminal, and air traffic control (ATC) building. The project is expected to be completed in two years. This is in accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision to make air travel safe, more affordable and accessible to all.
In particular, the project has been targeted in two years. Addressing a public program in Haryana’s Hear, Modi said, “Before 2014, there were 74 airports in the country, but today there are more than 150 airports … Imagine 74 airports in 70 years? … Every year, there are record airline passengers in the country”.
Where is the Maharaja if the airport?
Maharaja Agarson Airport is located about 5 km northeast of the Harsar City Center at NH-9. It is part of Haryana’s broader infrastructure development project.
Maharaja Aggson Airport: Development in stages
The development of the airport is being hanged in several stages. The first phase, which saw the completion of the modern terminal building, ended at a cost of Rs 50 crore. The second phase included construction of a 3,000 -meter runway, which enables Airbus aircraft to operate with the capacity of 180 passengers.

Scheduled flights will now go twice a week between Hasar and Ayodhya. Including some more, three weekly flights will connect Hasar to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Chandigarh.
