Lahore Qalandars’ wicketkeeper Better Sam Billings broke the 19-ball half-century against a strong 219-6 post against Quetta Gladiators, as Qalandars scored 79 runs in the fourth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 on Sunday.
Playing at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, the English remained unbeaten, anchoring an aggressive innings that added the defending champions to their highest tournament so far.
Billings 19-ball fifty set a new franchise record for the fastest half-century through Qalandars’s batter in PSL history, which crossed Omar Akmal’s inauguration season in 2016, crossing Omar Akmal’s 22 balls.
