The Saudi Red Crescent has successfully landed an emergency air ambulance service on a newly constructed helicopter inside the mosque al -Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of the new helicopter is to strengthen the capabilities of emergency medical response.
The dedicated helicopter, which was made as part of the third Saudi expansion of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, which was recently completed, indicates a major development in providing immediate and effective medical help to millions of pilgrims who visit millions of pilgrims annually.

Modern helicopters are carefully designed to adjust air ambulance operations, to ensure the expulsion and transportation of patients in nearby hospitals.
This move is particularly important during the seasons of pilgrimage such as Ramadan and Hajj, when the record breaking volume of pilgrims can potentially pressure existing medical resources.
It is ready to minimize the dedicated air ambulance service response times and provide immediate care to the needy.
